PHYLLIS (Greenberg) MEDNICK of Stoughton, formerly of Randolph passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 92 years of age after a long illness. Phyllis was the beloved wife for 50 years of Arthur Mednick, who passed in May 2001. She was raised in Dorchester, the daughter of the late Israel & Esther (Cohen) Greenberg. Phyllis was the loving mother of Shelley Vestri & her husband Ronald of North Easton, Scott Mednick & his wife, Dr. Joanne Mednick of Nashville, TN and Lisa Mednick of Stoughton who was her primary care giver for the past four years. Phyllis was the cherished grandmother of Dr.Talia Vestri & husband Michael Pealer of Millis, Tianna Vestri of North Easton, Taylor Mednick, Skyler Mednick, and Michael Beychok & his wife Naomi all of California. She was the proud great-grandmother of Lyra Pealer and Jacob Beystein. She was predeceased by her brother, Arnold Greenberg & his late wife Charlotte. She is also survived by several nephews and a niece.
A graveside funeral service for Phyllis will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, on Wednesday, October 9th at 1:45pm.Following the service, family and friends are invited to the Chinatown Restaurant, 103 Sharon St., in Stoughton until 6 pm.
