Nadine A. Dyen of Raynham , formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on September 03, 2023 at the age of 72. Devoted daughter of the late Morton and Helen (Dishler) Brownstein. Beloved wife of the late Randall E. Dyen. Loving mother of Jonathan Dyen and his partner Gillian Mason of Corpus Christi, Texas and Allison Dyen and her husband Randy Morris of Raynham. Dear sister of brothers Gary and Joel Brownstein. Nadine leaves behind many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Nadine earned her Associate’s degree from Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, and worked as a teacher for special needs children until she became a full-time wife and mother.
She met Randy, the love of her life, while they were summer camp counselors at the Jersey Shore. They spent 43 years happily married raising their two children until Randy passed away.
Nadine’s first commitment was always to her family, and she devoted countless hours supporting her children in pursuing all of their dreams.
Nadine was also passionate about social and racial justice and women’s rights. She spent her spare time volunteering for progressive causes and candidates.
Nadine’s memorial service will be held at 1PM, Friday, September 08th, 2023, at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street in Canton.
Shiva will be held at the Dyen Family residence in Raynham on Friday following the service from 3PM – 6:30PM.
