Melinda A. Brecher, 74, of Foxboro, MA, died in her home on December 22nd, 2024.
She was born in New York City on August 27th, 1950 to Ruth and Fred Levine. Melinda attended Queensboro Community College, Buffalo College and Catholic University, and earned her master’s degree in social work (MSW). Her long career as a social worker was dedicated to helping others.
Melinda is survived by her children, Henry (Rachel) and Matthew (Jaimee), her sister, Janet, and her beloved dog “Bear”. She is also survived by her ex-husband, Mark, with whom she remained friends.
Services will be held at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street in Canton on Monday December 30th , 2024 at 11:30AM. Interment to follow at Puritan Mt Sinai 776 Baker Street West Roxbury.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Jewish Family and Childrens Service would be greatly appreciated.
