Marion “Micky” Rosen of Quincy passed away on Thursday early morning January 23 at the age of 97. She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Annie and Morris Udelson, wife of the late Robert “Bob” T. Rosen, sister of the late Pauline “Polly” Sarver and late Ethel Cohen. She is survived by her three sons, Ralph J., Larry P., and Adam W. Rosen, and grandchildren Tara, Alicia, Charlotte “Charlie”, and Mathew Rosen.
Micky was a very active member of the Jewish War Veterans Ladies Auxillary. She loved children, and during her life worked as a preschool teacher, day care provider, and secretary. She was loving and generous to her family, friends, and neighbors. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton on Sunday January 26 at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at the Custom Tailors Cemetery at 776 Baker St. in West Roxbury.
Following the burial, Shiva will be held at Micky’s home in Quincy. In lieu of flowers Donations in Micky’s memory may be made to the Jewish National Fund USA ~ www.jnf.org
