Lewis Salett January 4, 2025

Date of Funeral

January 10, 2025

We remember Lewis A. Salett, born on May 19, 1933, whose spirit peacefully departed from us on January 4, 2025. He was the son of the late Ida and Wolfe Salett and is survived by his brother, Arthur Salett, and his loving family. He shared an extraordinary life with his beloved wife, Roberta Jaffe Salett, for 66 years. Their unwavering love and devotion were an inspiration to all who knew them. He set the standard of love for his entire family, and together they built a legacy of kindness, compassion, and family devotion that will endure for generations. This includes his three daughters and their spouses: Laurie (Alan) Salk, Pamela (Gary) Andler, and Bonnie (James) Ravo; his six cherished grandchildren and their spouses; his five great-grandchildren; and his nieces and nephews.

Lew was a veteran, a hardworking family man, a role model, a gentle soul, and a man who loved deeply. His passion for life filled every room, and he touched countless lives. Truly, there was not a person who met him who didn’t admire and love him.

A funeral service to honor Lew’s life will take place on Friday, January 10, at 10:30 a.m. at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton, MA 02021. Immediately following the service, a graveside burial will take place at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA 02067. Shiva will be observed immediately following at the home of Jason and Stacey Gay, 56 Aspen Road, Sharon, MA 02067.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Lew’s memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation at T2T.org.
