Lawrence N. Glazier, of Hingham formerly of Randolph, loving and devoted husband of Mary Glazier for 34 years, passed away suddenly October 24th at South Shore Hospital.  He was 83 years old.

Born in Boston, MA, he was a graduate of Suffolk University and worked as an agent for the I.R.S. for 45 years. Larry enjoyed bowling, running, and was an avid walker. He ran the Boston Marathon 5 times. He was also an enthusiastic sports fan and enjoyed attending Red Sox games with his son Cubey.  Larry had an incredible aptitude for sports statistics and loved to discuss sports trivia.

After losing his first wife Carol in 1986, Lawrence met Mary, and they were married in 1991 and enjoy 34 years together. For those that knew him, you knew them together. They loved family and enjoyed the simple pleasures of being together, like getting coffee and sipping by the ocean over long conversation.

Lawrence is survived by his wife Mary (McFarland) Glazier, his children Randi (Glazier) Struski and her husband Barry Struski, Mary (Galdins) Carter and her husband Geoff Carter, Cubey Glazier, Andrew Galdins, Jr.  He was a devoted grandfather to Scott Struski (29), Aidan Carter (27), Harrison Carter (24), Colin Carter (20), and Shana Struski (19).  He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

There will be a Shiva on Monday, October 28th at the Glazier home, Hingham, MA 02043 from 2-7PM. Funeral services will be the following day, Tuesday, Oct 29th at 10AM at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street in Canton, with the interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
