Lawrence Kranseler October 13, 2021

Lawrence (Larry) Kranseler of Sharon, MA passed away suddenly at the age of 62 on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from a heart attack. He was the beloved husband of Wendy and was the most fantastic father to his 3 children, Alex, Jenna, and Lucas. Larry was predeceased by both his loving parents, Arthur (Bud) and Barbara Kranseler, and is survived by his younger brother Kenny Kranseler of Bellevue, WA.

Larry grew up in Framingham, MA, graduated from Boston College and received his JD/MBA from Wharton/UPenn. Larry began his long legal career at Hale & Dorr in Boston, followed by 25 years at Hasbro, Inc. in Pawtucket, RI. Larry continued his passion for providing legal counsel for the past 10 years as an Attorney Member of Outside GC.

Larry, Wendy, Alex, Jenna, and Lucas and best dog Brady lived in Sharon, MA for the past 24 years. Larry loved his family more than anything and put them above all else. Larry was a huge sports fan and was a Red Sox and Celtics season ticket holder for many years. He passed his love of sports onto his 3 kids, and as Coach K, Larry logged many happy years coaching countless Sharon youth in soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball.

He loved playing golf and spending time at Blue Hill Country Club and enjoyed many golf trips and friendly poker games with his golf buddies. Larry loved the beach in Hull, became quite the cocktail master during the quarantine, and was unbeatable in any trivia game. He was a loyal and caring friend, always willing to offer a smile or joke, and enriched the lives of everyone who knew him.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St in Sharon, MA on Monday, October 18, 2021 at 11:45 with shiva immediately following. Shiva hours also 3-7 on Tuesday October 19.
