Laura (Skrep) Forman Rose of Stoughton MA at almost 95 Years Young.
Born in Peabody, MA to the late Jennie (Solomon) and Philip Skrep, the devoted wife to the late Alfred Forman for 67 years and then to the late Robert Rose for 7 years.
Beloved Mother to Irving and his wife Rhoda Forman, Sheryl and her late husband, Jerry Savage, and her significant other Gerry Gan, Sharon and her husband Michael Wolf, Heidi and her husband Gary Bourque, and Lisa Tosches.
Cherished Grandma to Michael and Karen Savage, Karen and Tom Knox, Lori Forman, and Jill and Jim Alders. Great Grandmother to the late Cole Benjamin Knox, Brody and Anya Knox, Jackson and Tony Alders and Julia and Benjamin Savage.
Devoted sister to the late Lillian Sirull and Frieda Sneider Shulman and survived by cherished brother Abraham Skrep and her adored sister-in law Joanne, as well as dear late brother in-law and sister-in law Paul and Muriel Forman. Also survived by many treasured nieces and nephews.
Laura had a lengthy career as an office administrator in many different settings. Later in life when she wintered in Florida, she worked at Blood’s Orange Grove, handwriting lovely notes to accompany gift baskets before computer generated notes.
Laura was always positive and took immense pride in her appearance, including her perfectly coiffured hairdo and being attired in beautiful outfits and matching jewelry her entire life, whether she was going to the supermarket, the doctors or a social event or work. She was an exceptionally competitive card player, mostly poker, enjoyed bingo and most especially going to various casinos to play her favorite slot machines with family and friends. Her lifelong commitment to The Patriot’s and football is legendary. She never missed a game and even had correspondence with Coach Belichick as she wrote him to express her opinion. And even when her beloved Tom Brady left the team, she continued to root him on in his new team. Laura was fiercely loyal…
Family was everything to Laura. She enjoyed spending as much time as possible with them. This included her children and their spouses, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her bonus family she acquired with her late in life second marriage and chosen family and friends.
Her last few months, when she was ill, she was cared for repeatedly at home by the devoted staff of the Brockton Visiting Nurse Association, the dedicated staff at Brockton Hospital and the caring and compassionate group at Baypointe Rehabilitation. Thank you!
In her own words, Laura stated she was blessed with a long life filled with so much love and caring. She did not wish us to grieve over her loss but to celebrate her life.
We should all try extremely hard to honor her wishes…
Graveside services will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham, Sharon, MA 02067. At the request of the family, the service and Shiva are private.
The family appreciates all expressions of concern and condolences.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Laura’s memory to the Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund at Ahavath Torah Congregation, 1179 Central Street, Stoughton, MA 02072, or the charity of your choice.

December 2, 2022 at 10:05 amI had the privilege of first meeting Laura back in 1996 when I was amazed by her vitality, exuberance and kindness. Her sense of fun and love for life were only matched by her timeless and elegant style (hair, make up jewellery always shone through impeccably)!
Laura emanated warmth and love to those she encountered. Her family and friends will miss her greatly but, I hope that in the future they will be comforted by their precious memories.
We wish we could be with you to say farewell but please know that we send you all our love and sincere condolences at this very sad time.
God bless Laura, sleep tight.

December 4, 2022 at 8:49 pmWhen we were kids and hang out at Irving’s house, Mrs Forman made us brownies, everyday. I was always treated like family at the Formans home. She was a great mom and person. Always nice to us “wild” kids.
