Ina Sue Beder November 2, 2024

Date of Funeral

November 5, 2024

Ina Sue Beder, a beacon of courage and love, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on April 15th, 1946, in Boston, MA, she embraced life’s challenges with grace and strength, never allowing her battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to dim her spirit.

Ina’s childhood was filled with love and warmth, surrounded by a wonderful family that nurtured her strength and resilience. She married Alan J. Beder from Malden, and together they raised two children, building a home rich in empathy and perseverance. When Alan was taken too soon, Ina continued to provide a strong and loving foundation for her children with the help of her parents, Ethel and Al. Her unwavering support and guidance made her a devoted mother and a role model for her children, Michael and Jonathan. She instilled in them the values of compassion, determination, and love, inspiring them to pursue their dreams relentlessly.

Ina’s legacy lives on through her five grandchildren, Jacob, Mitchell, Caden, Arianna, and Andrew Beder, who will carry her spirit and wisdom in their hearts. To honor Ina’s remarkable life, a memorial service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 10:45 A.M. Those attending services should meet behind the administration building (40 Dedham Street, Sharon) on the cemetery grounds prior to services. Shiva will be held at the home of Jonathan Beder on Tuesday immediately following the burial.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the MS organization (donate.nationalmssociety.org),  celebrating Ina’s tireless fight against MS and her dedication to helping others in their own battles. Ina Sue Beder’s extraordinary life will forever be a testament to the power of love and courage. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her vibrant spirit continues to inspire all who had the privilege to know her.

Sue was a wonderful woman. I volunteer at the Boston Home and she came to the music group I hosted. She was always upbeat and I enjoyed speaking with her. My wife Judy also got to know her and commented what a sweet, caring person she was.
