Helen Ruth Irving (née Clark), daughter of the late Solomon and Annie Clark, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Born and raised in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Helen was a cherished member of her community, known for her warmth and humor.
Helen dedicated many years of her life to serving others through her work at Catholic Charities in Brockton, Massachusetts. Her commitment to helping those in need was a testament to her generous spirit and compassionate nature. She was beloved by colleagues and clients alike, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Helen was renowned for her ability to bring joy to any room with her humorous remarks. Her funny comments and infectious laughter were a source of comfort and happiness to her family and friends, creating cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
Helen’s pride and joy of her life were her loving sons, Richard & his wife Michele and Gary & his wife Mary Jane. Helen is also survived by her grandchildren, Rebecca Moolenaar, Jason Irving, James Irving, Julie Irving, and Brooke Torton, and by her great grandchildren, Mya and Kaylee Moolenar, Riley and Aiden Irving, Hannah and Lily Torton, and Ryan and Benjamin Iannotti. Helen was the wife of the late Bernard Irving, and was the sister of the late Rose Baler, Martha Karlin, Edward Clark, and Rhoda Silverman.
A service to honor Helen’s life will be held at 10:00 AM, Sunday December 15, 2024 at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, located at 824 Washington Street, Canton, Massachusetts. Following the service, Helen will be laid to rest at Moses Mendelsohn Cemetery at 490 North Street, Randolph, Massachusetts.
Helen Ruth Irving will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy of compassion and joy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
