Harriet (Nicki) Noodell Goulston passed away at the age of 84 on February 11, 2025, in Hingham, MA. Originally from Boston, Nicki spent much of her adult life in Maryland before returning to Massachusetts two years ago. Devoted wife of 64 years to Charles (Charlie), she was a loving mother to Andrea and Beth; adored grandmother to Zachary, Ella, and Lila; devoted sister to Janet and her husband Martin Levetin, Roberta Noodell, and Susan Noodell; and cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Nicki was preceded in death by her parents, Rose and Hyman Noodell; brother, Jason; and husband, Charlie.
After completing her education at Jeremiah E. Burke High School for Girls, Nicki went on to graduate from the Boston School of Dental Nursing. She initially worked as a dental assistant before dedicating herself to raising her children, returning 20 years later to her career. Nicki had a lifelong passion for reading, found joy in knitting and needlework, and embraced painting as a new hobby after retirement. She enjoyed music, theater, and travel, often sharing these experiences with her family. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her loved ones. She will be remembered for her patience, sense of humor, creativity, and above all, her kindness.
A service to honor Nicki’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 19, at noon, at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill (824 Washington St., Canton, MA) followed by interment at Sharon Memorial Park.
