Date of Funeral

January 17, 2025

Goldie Dinoff was born on May 19, 1929 in Boston MA, to Jenny Kelvitz Dinoff, and Max Dinoff. Jenny and max were immigrants from Poland and Russia. Goldie was the sister of the late Hyman and Samuel.

Goldie resided 6 years at the Fortune House Community Residence, In Jamaica Plain; where she started attending the work skills training program in Allston. She continued working on bench assembly tasks for a total of 11 years. Goldie eventually continued to Dayhab services at Vinfen “CSS” where she made a host of friends and participated in many fun activities, and life skills.

Goldie moved to her home” Neponset Valley Pkwy” in 1995. She continued to live there for 29 years where she was greatly cared for and respected. Goldie had a big presence, and everyone loved her. She welcomed and talked to everyone as if she knew them for a lifetime. Goldie loved to sing during her pastime, which is why everyone at the residence knows her favorite song word for word. She would tell stories of the soldier she was marrying on Sunday, and share many memories of her parents and brothers to her housemates and staff.

Goldie will be greatly missed by a host of staff and weekly visitors, housemates, including longtime friends, Margaret Cram, Rose Cetrone, Ana Moreno and Linda Lawton and many other Vinfen team members.  Goldie was adored  by her DOS, Asela Jayasinghe, SPD, Laury Lundy and PD, Charlotte Lakes. She will greatly be missed by her day program manager and friend, Arthur Chanley who always checked on Goldie or came by to take her out for her favorite corn beef sandwich.

Services will take place on Friday January 17th, 2025 at 1:45PM at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street Sharon Ma 02067.
