Eleanor D. Freeman of Sharon, MA formerly of Stoughton, Chelsea and Roxbury, passed away peacefully, with the hospice nurse, aide and her loving son Perry by her side, after a long battle with dementia on October 14, 2024 at 89 years of age.
Devoted daughter of the late Irving and Bessie Mazer. Wife of the late Phillip Freeman. Loving mother of Nadeen Freeman of Stoughton, Perry A. Freeman of Norwood, David A. Freeman of Stoughton and Eric A. Freeman of Florida. Cherished grandmother of Zachary Freeman of Chicago, Il and Jacob Freeman of Seattle, WA. Dear sister of Ina Mazer of Brookline, MA and the late Marilyn Mazer.
Eleanor was a retiree after 23 years of service in the purchasing department at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. She also was very involved and extremely devoted to both Shaloh Houses of Milton and Stoughton right up until her passing.
Eleanor will be interred at Sharon Memorial Park on October 16th, following a 10:45AM private graveside service. Memorial Observance will be held at Care One, 675 South Main Street, Sharon, MA 02067 immediately following the burial until 4PM.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Eleanor’s memory to Shaloh House, 50 Ethyl Way, Stoughton, MA 02072 or the MSPCA-ANGELL at mspca.org
