Dora Schechter April 24, 2019

of Canton, formerly of New York passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at the age of 99. Devoted daughter of the late Isaac & Leah (Weller) Glickhouse. Beloved wife of the late Morris Schechter. Loving mother of Paul Schechter of Cambridge and the late Lorraine Schechter. She was the last surviving of her six siblings. Dora was a teacher and guidance counsellor in the New York City public school system. A Memorial gathering will take place later this spring at Orchard Cove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
