November 23, 2024 at 7:40 pmI am very sad to hear about Chuck’s passing. He was not only a friend but also a wonderful tennis partner. The many happy tennis matches we shared both as partners and opponents will always remain in my memory. Especially his famous dropshot. It always works when all players are over 80 years old.
And I’ll never forget the story about the time when Ethel and my wife Joan (who both worked at Digital Equipment) along with Chuck while they were in LA many years ago, spent time visiting all the sites related to the Nicole Simpson Brown murders.
Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,
Don
