Burton Goldstein passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Murray and Kate Goldstein and brother of the late Donald Goldstein. A native New Yorker, Burt was born in the Bronx on July 23, 1935. He studied acting at the High School of Performing Arts in NYC and at Boston University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He subsequently pursued a career in real estate in NYC.
A lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed hiking, climbing mountains, and traveled the waters of the East River in New York with his own boat. An avid skier, he started his own ski business and worked in tourism and travel.
Burt and his wife both relocated to Albany, NY to raise their family and recently became residents of Brighton, MA. Married to an opera singer, he always maintained a love of the arts and music throughout his life.
Burt was a warm, caring, and loving father, and a devoted husband. He was a natural entertainer and his radiant personality always brought laughter and happiness to those that knew him. Burt leaves behind his beloved children, Daniel and Kate Goldstein, and wife Lucille Beer Goldstein
