Annette Siegel Tovsky of Sharon, MA, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2022 at 89 years of age.
Devoted daughter of Abraham & Sonia (Shaff) Siegel. Beloved wife of the late Herschel Tovsky .Loving mother of Nisa Tovsky, Susan Tovsky & her husband John Dennis, Robert Tovsky & his wife Kelly Signs. Cherished grandmother of Aaron & Andrew Tovsky, Lucas & Jake Coughlin, great grandmother to Noa Tovsky. Dear sister of the late Gilbert Siegel.
Annette was a woman of many gifts. She was a talented artist, created beautiful needlework, and knitted and crocheted gifts that are cherished. Most of all she was modest about herself.
She graduated from Boston Teacher’s College and was a substitute teacher in the Sharon Public School system before discovering her passion for Library Sciences.
Annette and Hersh were serious duplicate bridge players, both achieving Life Master status. They travelled in pursuit of bridge games, and both described their trips to Israel as life changing.
We will remember our mother as a loving, thoughtful and compassionate woman.
Graveside Service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, MA on Sunday, April 24 at 12:45 PM.
Memorial observance at Whitney Place, 675 South Main St., Sharon following the burial until 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Annette’s memory to the Alzheimer Association (www.alz.org).
