The strength of a man is not measured by his size and stature but by the size and strength of his heart. Everyone who knew him would find him as a kind loving, and passionate man in everything he did. He was said to be born with a hammer in hand and to have golden hands, Dickie started his journey at 15 when he built his first boat and started his own business. Building and fixing boats. In 1966 he built his own house in 13 weeks.  Richard became Commodore of the Metropolitan Yacht Club in Braintree, which he so dearly loved to hang out with and greatly enjoyed quality time with family and friends, especially with a glass of Tito’s in hand. A man truly in tune with what life is all about. Richard was also so deeply greatful for the care and loving support of his best friends at Harbourside in Florida. You’ve all made these last 25 years meaningful, and blissfully happy especially in these last 7 months.
