LINDA J. (Pollack) STACEY of Framingham, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 82 years of age. Born in Brookline, Linda was the daughter of the late Arnold & Lillian (Shuster) Pollack and the stepdaughter of the late Isabel Boodman Pollack. She was the wife of the late Kenneth R. Stacey with whom she raised three daughters. Sheryl Stacey & her husband Geary of Framingham, Karen Stacey of Natick, and Diane Stacey-Wood & her husband Tim of Framingham Linda was a beloved Nahnee to her 5 granddaughters, Alyssa, Emily, Caroline, Lucy and Lindsay, and leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of Marjorie Snyder of Randolph, Susan Tanner of Needham, and Robert Boodman of Dedham and the late Jeri Hill, Susan Mish and Judi Tabachnick.
Linda was a dedicated special educator at Countryside Elementary School in Newton for many years. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Framingham State University while raising her family. Gathering as a family was Linda’s favorite moments whether it was a backyard barbeque, dining out, family parties, and holiday meals. Linda was especially proud of the dinner she hosted every Rosh Hashanah. She loved spending time with her granddaughters watching them grow. Linda loved to read, do crossword puzzles, and play mahjong with her friends.
Linda’s funeral service will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 1:30 pm at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street, Canton. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Condolence calls may be made at the home of Diane and Tim Wood on Friday immediately following services and on Saturday, October 19, 4-8 pm.
