Elaine Israel Rosen October 6, 2024

Elaine Israel Rosen of Canton, formerly of Randolph, passed away peacefully on October 06, 2024 at the age of 92.

Devoted daughter of the late Samuel and Bella (Chiat) Israel. Beloved wife of the late Carl Rosen for 44 years. Loving mother of  Stewart Rosen and his wife Denise of Scituate and the late Jerry Rosen. Cherished grandmother of Ben Rosen (Ashley), Jason Rosen (Nataly), Samantha Vincent (Jonathan), Jesse Rosen (Damarez), David Rosen and ten wonderful great-grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Crasella Kaplan.

Elaine was a longtime resident at Orchard Cove in Canton where she had many wonderful friends and enjoyed all the special events and activities that she participated in. She loved to greet new residents when they moved in and helped them to feel welcome and engaged in life at Orchard Cove.

Elaine also loved singing and had a beautiful voice. While living in Randolph she was a member of a choral group at the Milton synagogue. When she became a resident at Orchard Cove she joined the Coral group. She participated in many of their events.

Elaine was a very loving and caring person with a special presence about her you couldn’t help notice. She had an ability to make friends with those around her and always made others feel valued and appreciated.

She will be deeply missed by her family, dear friends and the Orchard Cove community that she called home.

Elaine’s funeral service will be held at 1PM, Thursday, October 10^th, 2024, at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill, 824 Washington Street in Canton, with the interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park.

Shiva will be held at Congregation Sha’aray Shalom, 1112 Main Street, Hingham, MA 02043 on Thursday evening beginning at 7PM.

In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Elaine’s memory to Hebrew Senior Life Hospice Care, 80 Newbridge Way, Dedham, MA 02026 or a charitable organization of  your choice.
