Lois B. Schleffer of Brockton, MA & Florida passed away peacefully on August 26, 2024 at the age of 85. She was the devoted daughter of the late Hyman and Ella Chyet. Lois will be lovingly remembered by her sons Gordon and Jonathan and daughter-in-law Lisa. Also, by her grandchildren Joshua and his wife Megan, Jacob, Andrew, Lauren, Leah and Jack, as well as her great-grandson Noah. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Mort Schleffer.
Lois was born in Boston, MA and raised her family in Brockton, where she became an integral part of the community. She dedicated her life to various efforts and organizations, like Temple Beth Emunah, Muscular Dystrophy and Brockton Community Cable. Basically, anyone who needed help.
A graveside service will be held at Temple Beth Emunah Cemetery, 1000 Pearl Street, Brockton, MA on Tuesday, September 3rd at 10AM.
In lieu of an in-person Shiva, condolences phone calls would be appreciated.
