Irving Kublin, of Sharon, 100 years of age, passed peacefully on December 6.  He was predeceased by his first wife, Rita Kublin, the love of his life, in 1968. He was also predeceased by his second and third wives Gertrude “Tudy” Kublin and Judith Berger.

Prior to his retirement in 1986, Irving was an electrical contractor.  He was president of the Massachusetts Electrical Contractors Association, a Life Master Bridge player and a proud U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by two sons, Stan Kublin (Donna) of Paradise Valley, AZ and Bristol, RI, Jeff Kublin (Elena Prikhodina) of The Villages, FL and a daughter Amy Kublin (Steve Groff) of Tucson, AZ.

He also had seven grandchildren (Jill, Jodi, Scott, Brad, Ethan, Rebecca, Caleb), ten great grandchildren (Seth, Justin, Jayme, Rachel, David, Makenzie, Nathaniel, Sydney, Nicholas, Riley) and four great, great grandchildren (Nolan, Finnegan, Elias, Ember).

The funeral is being held at Schlossberg Memorial Chapel, 824 Washington St., Canton, MA on Sunday, December 10 at noon, followed by the interment at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon, MA.

A Meal of Condolence will follow the interment at Irv’s former home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Irv’s memory may be sent to Dana Farber Cancer Institute or the VA Hospital in W. Roxbury, MA.
