Barbara (Miller) Schwartz of Stoughton, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, at 82 years of age. Barbara was the daughter of the late Abraham & Rose Miller and the sister of the late Howard Miller. She was the loving mother of her sons Barry and David Schwartz. Barbara is also survived by her son-in-law Mark LeMiere, her nieces, and nephews as well as many lifelong friends.
A graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Dorchester, Barbara was also on the YMHA Reunion Committee, was the Chairman and a Singer/Dancer of Capeway Company, an employee of the Steve Holtzman Associates company for 43 years. An avid Mahjong player, she cherished her weekly games with her many devoted girlfriends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 12:00 Noon at Schlossberg Family’s Chapel on the Hill at 824 Washington Street in Canton, MA. Following the burial service, Shiva will be observed at the Clubhouse at Knollsbrook Condominium complex, 70 Erin Road, Stoughton, MA In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
