Barry Marshall Sherman, a lifelong resident of Sharon, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 73 years of age. He was the devoted son of the late Irving & Elizabeth “Betty” (Whitkin) Sherman. Mr. Sherman was the beloved husband of Rosalyn “Rondi” (Haffer) Sherman. He was the loving father of Stephanie Dyer & her husband Andrew of West Newton and Craig Sherman & his wife Srey of Sharon. Mr. Sherman was also the cherished grandfather of Brandon, Jessica, Myra & Eliza and the dear brother of Arlene Lieberman & her late husband Michael of Sharon and Marge Rosen & her husband Steven of Foxboro.
Barry enjoyed spending time with family first and foremost. For most of his career, he was a CIO for ADP Marshall in Rhode Island, and in his final professional chapter, he pursued a career as a self-employed tax preparer. In his day, you might have found him on a golf course or at a bridge tournament or practicing his favorite sport, coupon clipping. He was brilliantly intelligent, incredibly funny, and he was just so good natured that his laughter would fill the room.
A chapel service will be held at the Sharon Memorial Park Chapel, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, on Monday, October 31 at 1:00 PM. Please gather at the Administrative Building. All those attending are kindly requested to wear masks and follow COVID protocols.
