Gwendolyn (Gwen) Easter, 16, Raynham, MA died tragically in a car accident Monday, October 17, 2022. She was the daughter of Eric and Brenda (Peters) Easter and the granddaughter of Marlene (Konigsberg) and the late Richard Peters of Raynham, the late Roger and Grace Easter and the bonus granddaughter of Nora Wightman of Bridgewater. In addition to her parents and grandparents, Gwen was the sister of Ian and girlfriend Darlene and Reece and partner Mylee of Raynham. She was the dearly loved niece of Dee (Peters) and Paulo Augusto of Raynham, Beth (Peters) McDonald and Will Hogan of Taunton, Mark and Grace (Lopes) Peters of Taunton, Scott and Angelina (Lazuk) Peters of Bloomfield, NJ, Leigh (Wightman) and Dave Long of Bridgewater, Stephen Konigsberg of Raynham and Paul and Terry Easter of East Bridgewater. She was adored by her cousins Gabriel, Archer and Elliott Peters, Samantha and Will Long, Nichole and Sophia Augusto and Christopher Easter and Katie Cullinan. She will also be sorely missed by many friends as well as Morris, Berra and Purry Face the cats and Maggie and her newest addition Pixie the dogs.
Gwen’s middle name Rae was perfect as she was indeed a “Rae” of Sunshine. The expression “to know her was to love her” rings so true with Gwen. Everyone she touched she left a lasting impression. She was wise beyond her years. She had two more years of home schooling and was looking to someday open her own bakery in Boston. As such, she had recently started working at Cupcake Charlies as a small step towards her bigger journey. She travelled through several D & D campaigns with her good friends. Gwen was a member and advocate in the LGBTQ+ community and given time would have been a leader amongst her peers. Gwen was an artist including several mediums, painting and clay modeling were two of her favorites. As described by her friend Sam, she was the most glamorous with her awesome make-up. Both her parents and her grandmother considered Gwen one of their best friends. She was so special and will be missed more than words can express.
“Dad, why do all the best people die? My son, while you are in a garden, which flowers do you pick? The most beautiful ones.” -Unknown
