Doris B. Parness Age 86, formerly of Marlboro, Newton, Wellington FL. and recently of Canton, Doris passed away peacefully on April 23 in her own bed in the Compass memory care unit at Cornerstone Assisted Living. Born on Feb 13, 1934, Doris was the loving wife of the late Irwin Parness and daughter of the late Isaac and Anne Queen. She is survived by son Joel and his wife Ann Marie, son David and his wife Liane and daughter Laurie. She loved her 6 grandchildren Rachel, Nelson, Jessica, Jaimie, Joshua and Andrew very much and would have done anything for them. Doris was a home maker who loved to bake and cook. All who knew her can attest to her skills in the kitchen!! She was in her glory when surrounded by family at the holidays. She liked music and loved to dance. She made many lifelong friends in both Newton and Wellington FL, and more recently became a favorite of all those she met at Cornerstone in Canton. Mom, you will be missed, but you are back with Dad now and we are sure you’re smiling and happy to be with him again. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, funeral services will be private. She will be laid to rest at Sharon Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday April 28th. Donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
