Edward Wolff of Westwood, MA, formerly of Mattapan and Randolph, died Sunday after a long battle with cancer. He was 72. Mr. Wolff was a veteran of the U.S Coast Guard and long time employee of Virtex in Norwood. He was a well respected electronics technician for several South Shore companies. Mr. Wolff was a devoted Boston sports fan through good times and bad. Eddie was an avid music lover, most notably the Dave Clark Five and the Moody Blues, and took pride in his automobiles and their care. He was a popular dinner guest at numerous family get togethers and was even more popular among his family’s golden retrievers as Eddie never failed to remember the box of treats. He will be remembered for his kindness towards friends and neighbors. He is survived by his sister Phyllis Wolff, sister Bette Blom and her husband James, his nephew Matthew Blom and his husband Rob, his nephew Andrew Blom and his wife Katherine, his uncle Louis, and several cousins.
