Jeffry “Jeff” Martin Bram passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, at the age of 92, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous effort to stay with them.
Born in the Bronx, New York, in 1933, Jeff lived a life filled with deep love and devotion for his beloved wife of 68 years, Arline, his three children, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and an expected great-granddaughter.
Jeff will be remembered for his profound gratitude for life, his wife, his family, and his career. He was kind, faithful, and ultimately, a true mensch. Above all, he treasured the life he shared with Arline and the family they built together.
A gifted design engineer, inventor, and educator, Jeff spent much of his career at Raytheon, where he contributed to the development of advanced computer technology. Named as an inventor on patents involving computer processor architecture and instruction processing, his work reflected his remarkable intelligence and technical skill. He also shared his knowledge and passion for technology as a Senior Lecturer in the State-of-the-Art Engineering program at Northeastern University for more than 10 years, where he taught and inspired others with his expertise.
Beyond family and work, he loved tinkering on his computer, reading IEEE publications, and exploring a lifelong fascination with science, technology, art, and the world around him. He especially enjoyed the Boston Pops, the theater, and Waterville Valley with his wife, Arline. They spent their lives side by side, deeply in love, caring for and supporting each other to the very end. Their love for each other was always and forever. He was deeply devoted to his children and especially close to his grandchildren, taking great joy in being their Pop Pop.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Arline Bram; his children, Stuart (Janice) Bram, Mark (Ellen) Bram, and Robin Bram; his grandchildren, Jason (Mallory) Bram, Alex Bram (Mariana Gomes), Curtis (Fani) Bram, Justin (Hillary) Bram, Taylor Bram, Kol Crooks, and Victoria Crooks; his great-grandchildren, Noah Bram and Levi Bram, as well as a great-granddaughter, Sophia, expected soon; and his brother-in-law, George Brockman and his wife, Janice. He was preceded in death by his brother, Rudy Bram; his parents, Irving and Lillian Bram; and his parents-in-law, Dorothy and Robert Brockman.
Jeff set an example of how to live with gratitude and love and will be truly cherished by all who knew him.
Services will be held at the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon on Monday, September 14th, at 1PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or Temple Israel of Natick at www.tiofnatick.org .
We will carry Pop Pop with us always. He will live on in all of us and be forever loved and deeply missed.
