Merle Duban of Attleboro, MA, formerly of Brockton, MA, passed away on March 5, 2021 at 76 years of age.
Devoted daughter of the late Simon and Sylvia Greenberg. Beloved wife of the late David Duban. Loving mother of Lisa Cote-Lambert (Jim), Amy Feroli (Robbie Natale), Donna Ventresco (Tony) and Rikki Souza (Steven). Cherished grandmother of Rachel, Shelbi, JD, Ethan, Samuel, Ryan, Kyle and Jacob David.
Merle will be celebrated and remembered for her unwavering dedication to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Due to our current Covid situation she was not able to see her family, however her peace was found in her nightly calls with her daughters and staying as connected as she could. Her appreciation for the people around her was never forgotten. In recent years she would always remember the nursing staff and aides that cared for her with small gifts of appreciation. She put a smile on everyone that encountered her. Her smile lit up a room and provided love, hope and laughter to all around her. She spent her time thinking about others. She was the Vice President of the Resident council at her nursing home, always wanting to be the voice of those that needed one. She will be remembered as everyone’s Nana. Always making sure you knew you were loved for who you were.
Due to the pandemic, Merle will be interred in Sharon Memorial Park after a private graveside funeral. The family will also not be able to observe Shiva. A public celebration of her life and gravestone unveiling service will be held at a later date.
