Clara L. Trainor (Bakerman) of West Palm Beach, formerly of Sharon and Stoughton, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the age of 95.
Clara was the daughter of Eli and Sophie Bakerman and the beloved sister of the late Joseph Bakerman, the late Geraldine Shochat, and survived by her brother David Bakerman and his wife Ruth. She grew up in Dorchester and also lived in Mattapan before moving to Sharon in 1964. She was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Trainor.
Clara loved reading, Broadway plays, music, movies and traveling. Most of all, she cherished her friends, playing Mahjong and eating chocolate.
Above all else, she loved her children Judith (Michael) Humphrey and Richard (Barbara) Trainor; her grandchildren Lauren (Matthew), Max (Tracy), Jonathan (Kaitlin) and Michelle (Matthew); and her four precious great-granddaughters, Hannah, Claire, Phoebe and Reyna. She also leaves many nieces and nephews who she loved with all her heart.
A private graveside service is planned at Sharon Memorial Park.
