Richard (Dick) Gordon Shuster, formerly of New Bedford, Brookline and Randolph, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2020. Dick loved and cared for his family more than anything. He was the devoted son of the late Esther Edna (Gordon) Shuster and Harry Myer Shuster of New Bedford, the loving brother of Bette L (Shuster) Pitchon of Canton, formerly of Warwick, RI and her late husband, Raphael Pitchon. He was the loving companion of Sandra Weinberg of Braintree and formerly of Randolph. He was also the doting uncle of Gina Pitchon of London, England, Mindy Spitz of Wellesley, Howard Pitchon of Tarpon Springs, FL and Marcy Schroder of North Easton and their spouses. He thoroughly adored all of his great-nieces and great-nephews and loved them dearly.
He was an accountant. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Korean War vet.
Dick was an avid Red Sox fan back when there weren’t that many. He took his nieces and nephew to Fenway Park and sowed the seeds of lifelong fans.
