KAPLAN, Charles

KAPLAN, CHARLES of Walpole, formerly of Norwood, passed away on March 26th at 73 years of age. Devoted son of the late Daniel & Marion (Pearlman) Kaplan. Beloved husband of Deborah (Epick) Kaplan. Loving brother of Nason Kaplan and his wife Charlene of Sharon, Howie Kaplan and his wife Donna of Onset, and Benjamin Kaplan and his wife April of Henniker, New Hampshire and the late Michael J. Kaplan. Chuck also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews as well as many friends from all over the country. Chuck owned and operated Neponset Valley Machine in Walpole repairing and fixing engines for car enthusiasts, auto dealers and companies, and developed the Hi-Performance Engine Curriculum for UTI Automotive School prior to retiring. He enjoyed Race Cars, both building and sponsoring as well as restoring vintage cars. His favorite past time was flying his private plane, target shooting, working on his home and helping his brothers and always enjoyed a good laugh, even if at his own expense. Chuck’s most favorite past time of all though was spending time with his 4 legged companion Bandit whether in the house, the shop or running errands. The two of them were truly inseparable. Chuck was loyal to the end to all that he knew and loved, and only asked for honesty in exchange. A private Graveside Service will be held at Highland Cemetery, 320 Winter Street, Norwood, MA, on Tuesday, March 31st at Noon. In light of the current Coronavirus situation Memorial Observances will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Liver Foundation in Chucks’ honor.
