TITELBAUM, Lorraine (Silver)

peacefully entered into rest on April 3, 2018, surrounded by her family. Raised in Quincy, she married her true love Mel at age 21, and soon after moved to Germany with the US Army. During this time her love of travel grew and remained a constant throughout her life. She earned degrees from Quincy High School, Boston University, Forsyth, and Northeastern University, and she worked for the US Army Corps of Engineers and the US Army, as a dental assistant and dental hygienist at the Arlington Dental Building, and later as a real estate agent for Landmark, Chapman, and Grant Cole Realtors. In addition to her extensive travel, she loved bowling, tennis, golf, and was an avid mahjong and bridge player. She was preceded in death by her parents Rose and David, her husband Melvin, her brothers Benton and Alfred, and her sisters Edith and Estelle. She is survived by her two children, David of Norwell, and Anne of Phoenix, AZ, her daughter-in-law Tricia, and her grandchildren Nicholas and Alexander. Lorraine’s funeral will be Thursday, April 5th, 2018 at 10:00 am at Schlossberg & Solomon Memorial Chapel, 824 Washington St., Canton. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA. Visitations will be held at NewBridge on the Charles, 5000 Great Meadow Road, Dedham in the interfaith chapel on Thursday, April 5th from 2:00-4:00 pm, Kaddish and Minyan at 4 pm, and continuing on Sunday, April 8th from 2:00-4:30 pm.
