OMANSKY, Martin B.

of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly on July 22, 2017 at the age of 72 while on vacation with his family in Ocean City, Maryland. Martin was born in Boston to Harry & Minnie Omansky. He attended Clark University and the University of Southern California graduating with degrees in Political Science.  He is survived by his wife Gayle (Leary); his children Rachael Chou & her husband Jonathan, Rebecca Carey & her wife Kimberly and Steven Omansky; his sister Judith Weinberg & her husband Marc; and his grandchildren Sarah and Alec Chou. Graveside Service will be at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St., Sharon on Thursday, August 3rd at 1:45pm. Shiva will be observed at the home of Judy & Marc Weinberg on Thursday from 7-9pm and continuing on Friday from 9:30am-5pm.
